My Protestant brothers and sisters why did Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wesley, Ulrich Zwingli and other condemned contraception and most accept it today? Do you believe your right now and wrong back then? What gives?

You are right. The Catholic Church is not opposed to birth control when it is accomplished by SELF CONTROL because any other artificial means dishonors the marriage contract. In fact, up until the Church of England’s Lambeth Conference of 1930 which accepted contraception and thus broke with the Christian tradition, contraception has been considered by ALL Christians to be gravely sinful.

But once you ‘break’ away from the Chruch - the spirial will continue.

Wait and see as the breakaway Churches now wrestle with ordaining women, ordaining men who are openly gay etc…

Some of their members may be on their way HOME here, because they realize that the Church has never wained… no matter how unpopular her mandates!

Blessings,
Joanie
