Not sure if this has been beaten into the ground, but. I need a question answered, because it makes me wonder.
Let say a woman has her tubes tied because of medical advice from a doctor that states another child could take her life or cause a child to be deformed because of medication she has to take to live. Let say she does this…not wanting to get into a situation where she might die.
Latter, her and her husband regrets this, but what is done is done, and try to live happily with one child with God. Though both wish they had decided differntly and secretly wish their lovemaking might overcome the contraception (it can happen) and concieve one more.
But this doesn’t happen. Since the chances are that the lovemaking is no longer to create life, the lovemaking is mostly for pleasure and consumating thier love, is there sin in this, as their is a contraceptive technique in play preventing more children, though for them it is a unreversable poor decision made at a vunerable time? (comming off a bad and scary pregnancy)
