Since the Church did not give permission to do this the statement that the Church has not adressed this is false. They have unequivcably said ABC is wrong in all circumstances You can not assume that “silence means consent”
I do not know anything about this nun story, but I agree contraception is intrinsically evil. The point I was making is that the action of contraception needs to be properly understood. Using certain medications post rape, for example, are not defined as contraception.

Do you have evidence the Church has said pills used to prevent ovulation are wrong to use in rape victims if conception as not happend?

he church says little about this but that’s why it okayed the use of contraceptives by nuns in World War two where they faced the risk of rape…In more recent times there were also examples of this approval in the Congo and also in the horror of the Bosnia outrages.
I have no personal knowledge of these claims. But if they are true, which I very much doubt, it would show what I have long been claiming that the CC teaches things as ‘black and white’ but in reaity when her children turn to her with dilemmas, she does not send them away ‘empty handed’ but listens and helps them all she can 🙂

I Googled and came up with the allegation many many times but no hard proof. Is this true? Please, in your replies, don’t direct me to sites which just contain the allegation but no proof.
this question has been asked at least 3 times in the last year. nobody has produced any authoratative source for such an allegation on any of these threads, because their isn’t one. Until someone can provide proof that “the Church” made such a pronouncement, the discussion is moot. It is up to those who make the allegations to provide the ammunition.
