I have been considering convert to Catholicism, but there are few things bothering me
  1. the doctrine of justification
  2. Peter’s authority
  3. veneration of relics
  4. Purgatory
  5. Sola Scriptura or Scripture and Tradition
I don’t think I have a problem with Marian veneration as long as it’s not taken too far
Thanks everyone, one or two books will be nice, but not too many since I’m a student and probably don’t have that much time. Instead, are there any websites or youtube channels if I want to know more about the Faith?

Hello!

Adult convert here. If I were looking into the Church today, I would get an account at Formed.org

Start with Symbalon I, then Symbalon II, then the series on Eucharist, Confession, etc.

This would also give me access to ebooks and audio books.
veneration of relics
I like to answer this question.

Remember 2 Kings 13:21? Acts 5:15 or 19:11-2? The veneration of relics is very Scriptural.

Hello Charles. In your consideration of conversion, instead of researching explanations of Catholic beliefs to see if you can agree with all of them, I’d suggest a different approach: Seek to learn which, of the many churches and denominations that now (sadly to me) exist, which is the ONE that Jesus instituted? Which is His Church, historically speaking? Because He promised that the one that He began, that Church is the one He promised to remain with “until the close of the age.”

That Church is the one to whom He commanded to “go and make disciples”,
Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Mt 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mt 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”
That Church - I would think - is the one you would want to belong to, because that Church has the teachings that are of Jesus, and thus are true. What matters is to come into belief with divine Truth - not to find beliefs that “seem” agreeable to me or to you, but beliefs that are agreeable to God! That is the rule that matters, in the end.
