My younger brother has declared himself an atheist but seems to be very open to discussion about religion and freely admits he hasn’t done as much reading as he ought.

Please pray that I may be able to explain the beauty of the truth of Catholicism effectively to him and that the Holy Spirit will work in his heart.

Thank you.

Your intentions will be in my prayers.***

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

God bless you +

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

I am praying.

May the Holy Spirit give you the right words to open your brother’s eyes to the beautiful reality of God’s existence.

Dear Tinajo,

Man can say many things but the truth cannot be destroyed. Don’t worry about your brother. Surrender him to Jesus while speaking about the church. The transformation will happen in Jesus’s name.

Praying for you both.

Thank you so much to all who offered prayers for my younger brother - I have just had an email from him where he says he now realises that there is an intellectual case for God’s existence! 🙂 It has completely made my day!

Please continue to pray for his awakening understanding of God, that it might become a true faith, and for me, that I may be able to lead him to the truth of the Catholic faith in particular.

Many many thanks.

Father, in the name of Jesus, please draw Tinajo’s brother deeply into Your love and truth. Let his faith be the stronger for the doubts that have made him search for truth. Thank You, Father.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen
