I am a lapsed catholic. I fell away from the church because of family pressure and sin. I want to revert but I need help finding resources for dealing with my family. Can anyone help me out?

You’ve come to the right place. This site, Catholic Answers, is a wealth of knowledge. You didn’t give any details as to how old you were when you left, or how long you’ve been gone or how well you were rooted in the faith, so, I guess, I’d suggest first calling, and making an appointment, then going to a Catholic Church to talk to a priest. I’d say the best place to start is a good confession. The priest will probably recommend an RCIA class if you’ve been away a while. You’ve probably been exposed to many negative and incorrect ideas about the Church, so please use this web site to research those things you may be confused with. After you research, if you’re still a little confused come on in to this forum, you’ll get a wonderful mix of ideas and opinions. Keep in mind we’re not all priests, and these are basically our opinions, not necessarily Church teaching. Welcome home.
May the peace and love of our Lord, Jesus the Christ, be with you,
Tom
I have no better answer than Tom gave you, Chaple, I just wanted to add my encouragement to do what Tom wrote and to let you know that no one is ever turned away from the Church who comes to her with a contrite heart, as you obviously have. God bless you–I will be praying for you!
Watching EWTN and listening to it over the Web (www.ewtn.com) has taught me so many wonderful things about my faith, I really wonder how strong I would have been without it.
