That was a good movie and the scene with this song brought back some wonderful memories of a very innocent time.

I don’t see any similarity though with the Mamas and Papas.

I was a junior in high school or so and I think that voice and song took me to a new level of music appreciation.

But it does take me back to the year when I had several friends over for a sleep-over birthday party and I got two 45 rpm singles records of that song as birthday presents. I still have at least one of them. I think the other one broke in two.
