Hi everybody,
I’m sorry my mind is very stressed so I apologize if this is an easy answer, I just don’t know because I’m overwhelmed with other things.

My son quit his job at a store, he told the manager he is afraid to risk our family members who are high risk in my home to have the coronavirus. He only worked there a month. His manager told him to go in the CDC website and fill out the form stating this is why he left and they will give him his job back , eventually.

Can’t locate this form online for the life of us. He left another message for clarification. Does anyone know if there is some sort of general form for job protection? We’re in NY. Thank you!

Separately, my husband is getting a doctors note for his second job that he is taking a hiatus from for the same reasons.

Anyone in a similar situation.

Be well everyone. God bless you all.

I know that some states have now declared grocery workers to be “emergency workers”.

Have not heard of any CDC job protection form, best your son call the HR department or Corporate HQ. If it is mom/pop, call the owner.

I’m just grateful for the retail and fast food workers who’ve been reporting for work. And not-so-grateful to the people who are buying up the non-perishable items, causing false shortages. I’m sure there’d be plenty to go around…if people just bought what they needed! But, I don’t blame anyone for staying home either…especially if they’re high risk. Like me. I’m past sixty and diabetic.

Hoping we’ll come thru OK. God Bless!!!
