Cosmic Kids Yoga

I know there are numerous topics on Catholics performing Yoga.
My PK4 kid goes to a Catholic school and they have been doing these “Cosmic Kids Yoga”. I looked into it more and the name allow gives me concern. It is also concerning that the videos start with Namaste. This is a Hindu word which is recognizing the divine in the person.

Do you guys think I should approach the principal about this first or get the priest’s opinion?
 
I dont know anything about children (dont even know what PK4 is) but I would not let anyone in my care do it, just because there is the potential for harm. Probably they will be ok, once, twice, maybe even every time…. but are you willing to take that risk. It’s a bit like drinking and driving, except with their soul.

If it were me I’d ask for my child to not do to the class, just to sit out of it. Not make a big fuss etc. if that’s possible. I probably would do it without asking my priests opinion because I would do it anyway as I am confident of my own belief. But ask the priest, it certainly wont do any harm. Also read it in the catechism. I’ll try google it for you, but it says soemthing along the lines of what I said, it is best not too. God bless you and your child.

My daughter has done Cosmic Kids yoga for years. They do yoga stretching moves while acting out children’s stories. The woman who runs the channel, Jamie, seems sweet. It doesn’t seem like spiritual trickery.

She seems creepy to me
 
Yoga is a form or worship. The moves used during “Stretching” or however someone wants to define it, are portrayals of certain eastern gods(aka demons). There are many stories and articles by exorcists stating this. Yoga should never be accepted or practiced as a catholic, no matter how watered down or innocent they try to make it.
