Could a Dominican parish offer a Dominican Latin Mass?

In her response a few days ago to a question about priests saying Mass in Latin, Michelle included a bit of trivia:

Your bit of obscure Catholic trivia for the day: Priests who belong to religious orders that have a pre-Vatican-II Latin rite of the Mass (e.g., Dominicans, Carmelites, Carthusians) are allowed to offer their religious order’s Latin rite of the Mass without special permission.

I belong to a Dominican parish, and was wondering – does this mean their pre-Vatican-II Latin-rite Mass can be offered for the friars only? Or can they use it on Sunday for the whole parish?
 
Assuming that there was a friar in the community trained in the Dominican Latin Mass and willing to offer it for the parish, yes, it is possible that he could offer it as a parish Mass. I have heard of at least one Dominican parish in which exactly that was done for a number of years. While there may be pastoral concerns surrounding the question of whether it is advisable to offer such a Mass as a parish Mass, in theory it is allowable.
