A person with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) be able to go to heaven? I’m a bit confused because I understand how this a occurs, it’s when a child experiences trauma that their brain makes a “different” person to experience it so the main person won’t remember. This causes the brain to essentially have multiple people in one body. So, if one of the other people (called alters) commits a mortal sin, would all of them go to hell, or only that one alter?

If a person has two totally dissociative personalities, one a saint and the other a wretched sinner, how will the soul be judged?

Sure. Why not.

No. It’s still the same person.

No. There’s only one soul in that body.

What you’re describing is a Mental Illness that affects one person.

There is generally one dominant personality in such cases. I wonder though what would happen if one of the alters has DID?
