I really need prayer right now. I am trying to be more open about my faith, but it is very difficult and scary to me, as strange as it sounds, to talk about my faith with others. I’m going to try to do better, but please keep me in your prayers.

“You must all think of what is best for each other and for the community. Be happy at all times; pray constantly; and for all things give thanks to God, because this is what God expects you to do in Christ Jesus. Never try to suppress the Spirit or treat the gift of prophesy with contempt; think before you do anything—hold on to what is good and avoid every form of evil. May the God of peace make you perfect and holy; and may you be kept safe and blameless, spirit, soul and body, for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. God has called you and He will not fail you…The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” [Thessalonians 4:14-24, 28]

“This…is what I pray before the Father from whom every family, whether spiritual or natural, takes its name: Out of His infinite glory, may He give you the power through His Spirit for your hidden self to grow strong, so that Christ may live in your hearts through faith, and then, planted in love and built on love, you will with all the saints have strength to grasp the breadth and the length, the height and the depth; until, knowing the love of Christ, which is beyond all knowledge, you are filled with the utter fullness of God.”
“Glory be to Him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine; glory be to Him from generation to generation in the Church and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.” [Ephesians 3: 14-21]

Thank you Trishee, that was written for me 🙂 You touched me when I first came here, thank you for doing it again. God bless you.

It really is in the beginning sometimes; however, I have found that once you really start to notice all the little awesome things that God does for us it’s really becomes more difficult to keep quiet. 😛 No worries, you’ll get there.

Even so…

Most honorable Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of prayer and for honoring us with your presence. Lord, please have mercy on George, let him not be afraid to share his faith with anyone, let his life so greatly reflect yours that his deeds will speak for him. Loving and merciful Lord, let him walk in love- love for God, and love for his neighbor, fearing nothing; but always knowing that you are with him. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be not afraid. Everyone goes through this in one form or another - and more than just one time.
God is refining you.
Keep close to Him. Pray - even when you don’t feel like it.
God will be close.

Father - be close to George. Grant to him perseverence in his faith and also grant Him your peace.
Amen

Peace
James

Praying the Lord builds you up with wisdom, knowledge and courage …

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

St. Peter, please help George with his fears. You know how much you feared persecution for being associated with Jesus, even to the point of denying you knew him. You know how much Jesus loved you and encouraged you in your hour of weakness and still asked you to take the Keys to his Church on earth and follow Him, and feed His Lambs.

Jesus, hold George close to you as you did Peter and show George your will for him. Amen.

Lord, please help form George into one of your holiest witnesses by granting him the courage he needs to speak openly about his faith with others when you want him to. Guide him, instruct him, move him to speak, and help him to cooperate with the graces you give him to speak up about his faith. May he pray, read scriptures and other Catholic books, and attend Mass as frequently as he can for the graces he needs to be faithful, bold, brave, and always true. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Praying for you George…praying in confidence that God has provided extraordinary spiritual warriors for His Church through EVERY generation for 2,000 years.
