Cousin Recovering from Alcoholism

My cousin, who is 24 years old, recently went to rehab after years of being an abusive and sinful drunk towards his parents and girlfriends. Before rehab, he was always so negative, looked in very poor condition, and struggled to hold down a job longer than a couple months. He went to rehab in October, returned in November of 2019, where he has since been 100% alcohol-free, got a new job, looks much healthier, but still continues to struggle with his relationship with his family. God has blessed his family with an incredible amount of grace and patience, and thankfully they are starting to go down the right path.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers as they fight to bring an end to the acts of the devil that take him over through alcohol!

Let us pray for all those afflicted by the DISEASE of alcoholism that they forever remain in sobriety, that they forever remain under the great physician Jesus Christ, that they remember the alcoholic who still suffers and the family members suffering right by their sides.

I pray that God helps him heal from this addiction completely. May He also reward his family for their patience and love. I pray that God helps him hold down a job as well. Amen.
