I’ve discovered certain truths. One being that everyone thinks they know better than me. 👺

I’ve gotten really crabby.

Joking

I read somewhere that the real me (or real you) is made apparent during this time of pandemic …I’m still thinking on that one …🧐 😇/:alien:/👺

Hmm.

Well it turns out everyone is an idiot.🤨

Seems like you have a few things to get off your chest.

For me… 2020 has been the most difficult year of my life… though also the year (so far) that has completely changed me, for the better, even amongst the sorrow.

I experienced a life changing event, God came to me, and lockdown provided me with the time I needed to grow in faith.

I will never forget it.

I deactivated my facebook account. No one cares.
GOOD.
Just great. Now I have to cook dinner. 👺

I learned that once you give a man enough power to lock you down in your home he will become a tyrant, banana-street-vendors are going to jail while rapists and murderers are getting out becuse “jail cells are too tigth and covid is going to spread” (in brazil that is)

fun fact: governors let everybody go to the famous “carnival” (with hundreds of people close to each other) and then sudently "oh no a man coming from italy brougth the covid 19, even though people had that mounths before 😮 "

👺 🤡 👺 🤡

I blame these guys: 🤖
My husband and I watched Tron 2 last night.

Alright, time to go cook dinner for real.
Bye everybody.

I’m not sure how much “new” stuff Covid19 taught me (aside from gardening), but it reinforced a lot of stuff I already knew or suspected…

I would say that the following Prayer sums it up for me…

Prayer to Achieve Inner Peace
Slow me down, Lord. Ease the pounding of my mind. Steady my hurried pace with a vision of the eternal reach of time. Give me, amid the confusion of the day, the calmness of the everlasting hills. Break the tensions of my nerves and muscles with the soothing music of the singing streams that live in memory. Help to know the magical, restoring power of sleep. Teach me the art of taking minute vacations - of slowing down to look at a flower, to chat with a friend, to pat a Dog, to read a few lines from a good book…Slow me down, Lord.
Amen!

Juuuust kidding.
Yes, prayer, awareness of inner conversation, meditation is definitely the path out. Last night, I was on a plane ride, looking out over the vast ocean at sunset, and it turned into a truly extraordinary surrender prayer. God is so vast, in charge, beautiful.
