Okay…I thought of a two part question.

There are six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him;

what are they and what famous modern day trial was this scripture read?

ps Marie, this is the first question…I’ve ever tried so hope its okay :confused:

I’m not a member of the Crazy Internet Junkies Society, so I don’t know if I’m technically allowed to answer, but I can Google.

“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that hurry to run to evil, a lying witness who testifies falsely, and one who sows discord in a family.”
Proverbs 6:32
(I needed Google to figure out the chapter and verse, but I did know that the verse was in Proverbs, if that counts for anything.)

Was this read at the trial of Paul J. Hill?

But there shall be the peace of the LORD forever for David, and his descendants, and his house, and his throne.”
