Does anyone ever make caseroles involving mac and cheese? If so share!
 
To be honest…now that it’s (almost) summer, I love to take advantage of all the wonderful produce and herbs available in the farmers markets and make pasta dishes that incorporate them. If you have really fresh stuff–all you need is a little good olive oil, some herbs to taste and your favorite veggies tossed in.

Not really creative, but quick and easy…mixing a batch of mac and cheese with a can of drained albacore tuna fish and jalepeno peppers. Yummy.👍

Kraft mac-n-cheese, add one can of tuna and a can of condensed mushroom soup. Throw it all together and heat.

other good fresh produce additions: cucumbers and tomatoes
 
Ah, macaroni and cheese!😃

One thing to remember about macaroni and cheese;
However creative you might be;
If not properly prepared;
It will bend you to your knees!😛
 
This is tried and true, and loved in my home!

Macaroni & Cheese Souffle

2 cups elbow macaroni
1/4 cup butter
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
8 oz. cream cheese
3 eggs
2 cups milk

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Combine with butter. Beat together eggs and milk. Add to macaroni & butter, along with rest of ingredients (cube cream cheese to allow even incorporation). Place into a buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
 
Mock Lasagna

1 package of mac and cheese
1 lb hamburger
2 cups cottage cheese
1 large jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups grated white cheddar cheese
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

Prepare mac and cheese per instructions on box. Cook and crumble hamburger. Combine cooked & crumbled hamburger with spaghetti sauce. In a 1 &1/2 quart casserole dish lay down a layer of the mac and cheese, then a layer of cottage cheese, white cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. Pour in layer of hamburger and spaghetti sauce mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used, putting last of cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top. Then put into 350 F. oven for 20 minutes. Serves 4.
 
add grated cheese, peas (frozen), and cold hot dogs! I think it is great!

there is no way to beat Stouffers Mac and cheese, so I don’t even try. If I get creative it is in the side dish combinations I serve with it.
 
My mom used to mix ground beef (as for meat loaf), flatten it out, lay it over a casserole dish of prepared mac and cheese and bake. You got a meaty top and hot mac and cheese underneath. My brothers and I loved it.

This may sound yucky~but it’s not bad! Throw some Kielbasa and chopped cooked peppers into the mac and cheese. Sounds gross tastes wonderful!

Macaroni Salad

1 Pkg Macaroni and Cheese Dinner

1 cup of chopped celeary

1 jar Pimentao drained and diced

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tsp vinegar

1.Prepare Mac and Cheese as directed.

2.Add the rest of the ingredients stir and flavor with salt and pepper.
