I have seen short snippets of a few shows. some of the stories look interesting, but it is on at a time in the afternoon here when I am really busy. I wish they would rerun it at night. sometime I would like to see an entire episode.

I did not know Chris Hansen was the host now…I watched a few episodes of Crimewatch daily a few months back, seemed like another version of the tv show ‘cops’, with a different twist.
I will say Chris Hansen has gone down hill since his days on ‘To catch a pedophile’, I saw him recently as the host for a late night informmercial selling home security systems!

He has a show on Investigative ID called To Catch a Killer.I did not know Chris Hansen was the host now…I watched a few episodes of Crimewatch daily a few months back, seemed like another version of the tv show ‘cops’, with a different twist.

I think that had something to do with why Hanson didnt really go anywhere after ‘to catch a pedophile’. Before the show, he was a fairly well known and respected journalist for one of the mainstream media networks (MSNBC maybe?).He has a show on Investigative ID called To Catch a Killer.
I thought the other show was really bad.
I heard snipets that parts of or most of ‘to catch a pedophile’ were actually fake, actors were playing parts, but it was implied as all being real. I would not be surprised if this were true, the few shows I watched, it seemed pretty over the top, and many of the ‘offenders’ were a bit too dramatic to be real imo.

I did get the name of his new show incorrect. The correct name is Killer Instinct w/Chris Hansen.He has a show on Investigative ID called To Catch a Killer.
I thought the other show was really bad.
