Recently i found a very interesting discovery: The Hubble’s Telescope found a 100 light years diameter “cross” in the center of M51 galaxy. Looks very interesting to me. I won’t say it’s an end of times sign (or maybe it is?) but it’s very fascinating. What are your thoughts?

Well, that “cross” has been there for at least 20 million years, and probably a lot longer than that. So if it is a sign of the end times, we have been in the end times for all of human history.

Sure, i didn’t say that IT IS a sign, it’s pure speculation. Anyway it’s still better than today’s image of a black hole - that really disappointed me a lot.

Why?

I thought it was amazing.

I mean, it’s our first visual confirmation of a black hole. We got to see the truly massive scale of the event horizon.

Yeah, it’s just a big red circle on paper, but what that circle tells us is amazing.

Maybe it’s because i am skeptical about this type of discoveries. After all, what is your guarantee that this is 100% real? It looks like a CGI and the only difference is that “scientists” said it’s real. I have read a plenty of books (not reptilian conspiracies) but very very well documented (for 700 pages 1480 footnotes, including photos, documents, etc.) and you (literally) can’t trust in everything they say, even if they are scientists. It’s a well organised group, you have no real possibility to find out if it’s real or not.
I’m from Poland and we have some books that i can’t find anywhere else, we don’t have that much censorship here and believe me, i’m not a conspiracy theorist but some conspiracies are more real than you could ever imagine.
I’m not saying that black holes do not exist (even if they are really not necessary to exist), i’m just skeptical about this one, i don’t give all my trust to those people and they showed nothing convincing. That’s why i’m disappointed, i was hoping they will announce somehing “WOW”.

Well, I generally tend to take them at face value unless I have reason not to. I see no real gain by falsifying a report like this, And since I honestly cannot personally prove that anything is 100% real, I see that as an irrational standard of judgment.

In short, these people, to me, seem genuinely interested in learning about the makeup of our universe, and this is just part of that effort. If it’s fake it has no impact on my life. If it’s real it has no impact on my life.

I chose to trust until given reason not to, and I think it’s pretty cool.

(Full disclosure, I enjoy conspiracy theory stuff, not because I think much of it is real, but because it’s just kinda funny to read.)

Sure, black holes would only prove that the laws given by God are very accurate. I like reading conspiracies too, some of them are really funny like the Sumerian aliens from Nibiru by Zecharia Stichin (who was a freemason), David Icke etc. it’s kinda funny stuff. But in addition of the funny ones, everyone must be aware that some are true, and it really scares me because things happen exactly like some wise people predicted a long time ago. But it’s a topic not for this thread. 🤣

Let’s just enjoy our beautiful universe.

I remember back in the days of Usenet when two scientists claimed they’d done nuclear fusion easily in a lab. Wow did the lists blow up.

Probably just an optical illusion. Depends you what direction this sight is viewed.
