Crowns in heaven

I don’t know if there is any direct scriptural evidence to support this, but at the moment I’m just wondering how many there are and whate exactly they are for?

I’ve heard it being mentioned several times.

All I know is a white crown symbolizes purity and a red, matyrdom.

Anyone know more?

This is commentary concerning the crown mentioned in Revelation 4:10.

Oecumenius 6th century Their casting their crowns before God indicates this: the crown is a symbol of victory and kingship.

**St. Victorinus 304AD **“And they cast their crowns under His feet.” That is, on account of the eminent glory of Christ’s victory, they cast all their victories under His feet.

I think you’re referring to St. Maximillian Kolbe’s vision here, aren’t you?

As for crowns in Heaven, the crown is basically an ancient symbol of authority and lordship, which is why Jesus is described as having ‘many crowns’ or ‘diadems’ on His head to signify His position as ‘King of Kings and Lord of Lords’ (Rev. 19: 12)

There is nothing in the Bible about crowns being color-coded, though.
