I watched parts of that episode myself. The show was wraught with Catholic stereotypes! And I thought it was “perfect” timing on CBS’s part, with the Foley/sexual abuse scandal still sizzling in the presses.

Get a grip, CBS!

I watched the whole show. Complete waste of time. I want that hour of my life back!

Ha-ha!

I used to really like the show. It started to bore me a few months back. I would have liked to see that episode though. haha

I only watched this because my wife enjoys the show. I felt it was putting Catholics in a bad light. What do you expect, Bashing Catholics is the “in” thing to do in movies and TV.

Hitler and Nazi Germany were doing the same thing to Jews and Catholics prior to World War II, look what happened afterwards. Eisenhower said, “Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.”

This is too bad. Obviously the network of CBS saw fit to not censor or stop this hate crime. Upon further reflection and having mailed the feedback form, my family will no longer watch CBS.

I suppose waiting for network TV to portray a devout Preist with a good head on his shoulders as a hero is a waste of time and not on the horizon…

I also guess Catholics in general being portrayed as humble, charitable and heros will not be in any upcoming scripts either…

This is going to sound horrible but…Isn’t the writer for CSI also the writer for Boston Legal, etc.? Jerry Bruckheimer (sp?) is his name – he is Jewish. Hmm… Catholics are always portrayed horribly in his shows. Am I sounding too much like Bill Donohue or what?

Perhaps, but it was the philosopher George Santayana who said it first.
(In fact its about the only thing I know about him 😛 )

I didn’t see the CSI episode, but it sounds as if the writers are running out of ideas and are grasping for scandalous plots to pull in viewers (or to keep viewers from abandoning the show).
