That bums me but doesn’t surprise me- all the shows I think are cool get cancelled.

CSI: Cyber was renewed for the 2015-16 season despite lackluster ratings. No offense, but was Patricia Arquette’s then-recent Oscar win a significant factor in the show’s renewal?

Don’t know. Patricia Arquette isn’t the best actress, granted, but I enjoyed the show itself. The premise was interesting. Cyber crime is a major thing now, but I’m largely ignorant of how it works. You do realize half the stuff they show on these types of programs is not actually real though…right?Don’t know. Patricia Arquette isn’t the best actress, granted, but I enjoyed the show itself. I remember years ago, the first CSI Miami, got a bad rap, when people in law enforcement stated much of the tactics and tests they do on the show are not even close to being real.
I dont watch shows like this anymore, but I do try to keep in mind with TV shows, they are not real and just on for entertainment, but I guess thats why similar shows are popular, they do a great job making fake stuff seem real.!
