Howdy -

So, I’ve been doing some reading about Catholic Social Teachings and have been chewing on something for a while now. I’d love some feedback and thoughts!

What role do you think religion has in tech/economic development?
 
I wonder why you slashed it “Tech/economic”. The Church has a great deal to say about economic development. Have you seen the Compendium on Catholic social teaching? I am sure when it comes to technology it can get very involved as technology deals with bioethics and the environment and no days just about everything. Bottom line is “The Common Good”

The true religion can help ensure that the economy is developed justly and technology is utilized morally, so that man is neither reduced to a tool to be exploited and oppressed or technology is not raised up like an idol.
