**Cultures of Death
**
There are three distinct Cultures of Death in the world today:
Hedonism - seeking pleasure first in each and every way;
Radical Elitism - one class placed above other human beings;
Consumerism – making quick profits and having lots of things.

The Culture of Hedonism is all about quick pleasure seeking,
Valuing sex as a casual fun activity, mostly morally lacking,
Rights only for those of value, its critics publicly ridiculed,
Anything is permitted if you do not get caught or punished.

The Culture of Radical Elitism puts one class above the rest,
Granting special rights and privileges for the only elitist,
Denying fundamental rights to some including that of life,
Resulting in terrorism, oppression, cruelty, bigotry, and strife.

The Culture of Consumerism is all about having the most things.
For consumers, it is having better stuff than other human beings.
For sellers, it is about making the quick big profit at any cost.
In society, this results in happiness and compassion being lost.

And opposing the Cultures of Death is the Culture of Life,
Which values each person uniquely and every human life,
Respecting the basic rights from conception to death natural,
Considering as important each and every person, one and all.

Just finished this poem. It tries to show what the Culture of Life opposes. God bless. Enjoy.

Excellent. Everything you wrote is worth reading.

Perhaps better -
You have 4 stanzas for the Culture of Death but only one for the Culture of Life.

Perhaps The Culture of Life stanza could be constructed with three sub titles with the hyphen and then a stanza for each.

Perhaps then a closing stanza tying your points the greatest Commandment - LOVE. The Culture of Death is not true love but rather a false love of self.

I know brevity is important so my comments are in the “perhaps” category of feedback.

Radical individualism. That’s what Pope Benedict called it. “No one can tell me what to do. I will seek pleasure and enjoyment from just about anything.” Man makes himself god.
