I have to admit I am a very lazy person. I’m unsure if it is a mortal sin or not. I’m studying at University doing my Bachelor Degree for Civil Engineering, currently im at my second year. The problem is I have lost interest in my course but I owe it all to laziness. I was never like this in my junior days, but i dont know.

Now, I know there is no such thing as a stupid question, but is
there a remedy for laziness?

One thing I’ve noticed though is that I like to read up on anything to do on Catholicism or anything about GOD. I don’t know but there is something about theology which attracts me.

I am praying GOD to help me with my laziness!!! Hehe

Aye, sloth is one of the seven deadly sins.

Rethink why you are studing to become an enginer. We tend to get lazy when we do not have a good reason to do anything. Do a extensive examination of where you are at in your life, and where you are going. And keep you mind on the big picture.

Pray to St.Augustine.

I tend to be a person who needs to be in a routine. Occasionally I have this problem of laziness with working out. I’ll not workout for a week and then all of a sudden I’m just not going to the gym at all. Then I basically just force myself to hit the gym and I’m back in the groove in no time.I think that’s the way to go. Create a schedule for yourself which dictates when you do your homework and studies. Once you get in good routine (groove as I call it:D )you’ll be fine.
