“Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” -Matthew 5:48
We must always try to be perfect and grow in holiness, but we can never achieve perfection. We are saved through the grace of Jesus, we can’t do it without that, and so we must humbly submit ourselves to His mercy.
