When a soul begins to exist at conception is this soul generic at the outset or custom to each individual? Brains are subject to individual biology, chemistry, experiences etc. and are unique to each individual. When a soul begins to exist is it generic and then begins to develop according to (name removed by moderator)uts from the brain? As a thought experiment: if the same soul as Hitler was put into you at conception would it make a difference or do all souls start out the same and develop unique to each individual according to brain biology and free will?

Where would those so called “generic “ souls come from … off a cosmic shelf? 🤣

No, a soul is created concurrent at conception. Each individual is a unique creation ordered to relationship with God.

I am asking if a newly formed soul is completely generic (i.e. the same for every person initially) as opposed to the brain which comes preloaded with different biochemistry, DNA etc. for each person. If each soul is a unique creation we are in effect given a particular soul and that raises question of moral culpability.

I’m sorry I don’t understand your question. I have no expertise in philosophy. 😊

We are all given unique gifts. We all have different short comings. We are not totally a product of our biology, DNA, age, culture or programing. We have all been given everything we need, in our state in life, for an opportunity at salvation.
