Daily Mass

I am so thrilled! I just had to tell everyone…

I live it a pretty rural area of Southwest Wisconsin. I have always longed for an early morning daily mass that I could squeeze in before the start of my work day at 7:45. Yesterday I was pouring through masstimes.org and discovered a Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. mass a mere 15 minutes away in Dubuque, IA. This morning I attended mass in this glorious church for the first time and received the sacrament of Reconciliation after (The priest hears confessions after every morning mass).

I am so thrilled that I’ll be able to attend some morning masses during the week from now on!

That is awesome!

Today, as I was walking back to my office from a noon mass at the Cathedral in Austin, TX, I realized how blessed I was to be able to attend daily mass. Moreover, our workplace is under major renovation and most of the staff have to move to another location that is too far from here.

I am blessed to be able to stay here through the renovation - The only catch is that I have to hear all the pounding and noise of the demolition team. I just hope the buidling won’t collapse .
