…Yes, painting is all finished and we are still in the process of putting furniture back and then I have to unpack boxes galore and finally, the dusting and floor cleaning. I will actually get to sleep in my own bed tonight! Just at this point, I dont know where my books connected to the Daily Prayer and Liturgy thread are located but the thread is updated to
Saturday and if I can’t continue daily entries beginning tonight, then I certainly will be able by tomorrow night and hence there should be no break in the actual dates in the thread. Thursday 26June 3.19pm here. I have been living on pizzas and tonight have everything connected so I can cook myself a decent meal. Pizza was fun at first, but I’m afraid the novelty to the pallete coupled with paint fumes, has completely worn off and I am looking forward to good old meat, peas, carrots and potatoes tonight with paint fumes fading fast.
Why is it that what remains elusive are the very things one is trying to locate?
Yesterday we searched and searched for the dustpan and handbroom and could not find it. This afternoon it turned up and had been staring us in the face all the time! …all one can do is stare at the objects in stunned amazement that we never sighted them with all our searching.
Fact of the matter is I put my books connected to the thread in a place I would be able to quickly relocate…and completely forgotten where that was!!!
Ahhhh the saga of the Painting of Bethany!!!
