This has been creating some controversy on-line, but I think it actually helps the pro-life cause more than anything:

But I think it’s supposed to be. It dramatizes a frequent occurence. This scares a lot of pro-choice people.BEYOND DISTURBING!![]()
Horrifying! You are missing the most frightening part - read the comments!
Agreed.Horrifying!
Sorry, there is absolutely nothing of value in this sick attempt at humor.![]()
It’s Youtube. Are you really surprised? You are missing the most frightening part - read the comments!
I don’t agree - I think it made several very real and necessary points, i.e, (1) many young women are scared when they get pregnant out of wedlock and need support; (2) abortion is violent and murderous; (3) there is a comic book attitude that abortion doesn’t really kill someone; (4) men are shirking their responsibility.Horrifying!

My hat’s off to Mr. Wayans for making a socially compelling argument against abortion that pulled no punches as to what’s really happening.
Admittedly I do not know Mr. Wayans’ intent explicitly. However, I cannot review this clip and think it anything but a pointed and acerbic anti-abortion statement. If it’s not, it makes no sense at all to me. I note I’m not alone, either. Admittedly, neither are you, as I have seen many comments and blogs concerning the clip with some folks taking the same view as me and some taking the same view as you.Right.I’m CERTAIN that was Wayan’s intention in making this disgusting video.
You can tell by the eloquent and insightful comments made by the viewers!
Not everything on Youtube is bad. I learned to knit from watching some of the little movies on that site. This made it on lifesite:

Good for you that you were able to glean such meaning from this video. But, based on the comments made on the youtube page, the tv coverage thus far, my gut reaction and the reactions of others here on CAF, I think it served no altruistic purpose. More importantly, to those who vehemently oppose abortion, treating the issue with such crude “humor” is very hard to stomach.Admittedly I do not know Mr. Wayans’ intent explicitly. So what do we do? Even if the clip is really a stupid failed attempt at some sort of joke - I think it might provide a basis for some real discussion. Some of the comments about the clip are indeed foolish - but the message of abortion as violence on women and killing babies can be strongly made. I view it as something like showing pictures of aborted babies to make a point.
Based on others comments - at numerous blogs, etc. - there are plenty of people who took much the same meaning as I did, just as there are many who took offense as you did. We disagree while even in the same camp. That’s life, I guess.Good for you that you were able to glean such meaning from this video.
