I’ve thought this from the beginning. Since both are adamant that all this is true, how could one plagarize history? Especially since Dan Brown went out of his way to give credit for his research to Baigent and Leigh (even to the point of naming a character after Leigh). Not that I’m a defender of Brown, but I always thought the plaigarism accusation was a little silly. Of course, everything about their view of reality is silly, so we should expect much better from their legal efforts.

Exactly. I think the suit is really a great embarrassment for the whole theory, because Baigent and Leigh are implicitly admitting that this is an idea they cooked up.
