Instead of going back and forth like this, lets look at what the Church teaches. It teaches that no way is preferred over the other. This is disciplinary, not dogma. If you prefer on the tongue, thats OK. If you prefer in the hand, thats OK, (where the indult has been granted.) Until and unless it is changed back to the tongue only. Both are equally acceptable. Whether you receive on the tongue or the hand is not what is important. What is important is the interior disposition with which you receive Our Lord and Our God in this Most Blessed Sacrament which is the source and summit of all that we believe as Catholic. One single Communion gives more grace and merit than ***ALL ***of the combined sacrifices offered in the Old Testament. Don’t worry tongue or hand, worry whats in your heart and on your soul when you receive.
