An acquaintance at work is a foster mom to violently abused kids who dissociate and turn murderous. She has resigned herself to the fact that one of them might succeed in killing her. I am not so resigned…I live with a victim of violent childhood abuse who has generally been hard-working and responsible, but having lost the only source of stability, their job, has turned to drinking beer and smoking pot and getting wiggy. Had a knife pulled on me for no particular reason during one of these bouts recently. Am way behind on rehab of property I bought but have stayed there hugging dinky wood stove for heat in the cold. So could you kindly pray for healing for the abused; and pray for a swift and positive resolution to be free of this dangerous situation–including my new crime-ridden neighborhood; and income security? Thank you kindly and may God lavishly bless all our prayer warriors in the Church Militant and send that cloud of witnesses to help mightily.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

I shall pray for you, your work colleague and all those in difficult situations.

I shall pray for all those who are abused and for those who become violent because of it.
