Has anyone had experience with the work of Daniel B. Wallace? A protestant friend of mine has invited me to a seminar he is giving in Fort Wayne, IN and I want to know more about him before I decide to go or not go. What I know is that he writes for bible.org and was the senior New Testament editor for the NET Bible. Here is a short bio from the website:
Daniel B. Wallace has taught Greek and New Testament courses on a graduate school level since 1979. He has a Ph.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is currently professor of New Testament Studies at his alma mater. His Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics: An Exegetical Syntax of the New Testament (Zondervan, 1996) has become a standard textbook in colleges and seminaries. He is the senior New Testament editor of the NET Bible.
I am a “cradle” Catholic and do not have a very strong knowledge of my Catholic faith, but I am picking away at it when I can. I fully believe that all sides of an issue should be looked at, but I want to make sure my sources are reliable.
Thank you!
