I did it…I made it to purgatory…at least I hope this test reflects where I will go…I didn’t like some of the questions though, because it ask you point blank, yes or no to some things…which could have happened 10 years ago, but you vowed never to do again…which I think is very important for things such as pre-marital sex, etc.

Yes, the questions were so cut and dried - “Have you ever?” I’m coming up on 50 and “ever” is over 30 years, in my case! I have lonnnng repented the sins of my younger days. But the test says I have a moderate chance of going to the level of hell for lust. :confused:

And there’s one question about food - “Is food one of the finest things that the earth has to offer” or something like that.

Well, honestly… no. I barely remember to eat half the time, I’m so busy and when I do, it’s a quick slop thrown together and eaten in front of the computer while I work or read.

But, GOOD food is one of the finest things this earth may add to a human bodily experience. I guess that answer and the overweight question were what gave me a moderate chance for the level where gluttons go. 😛

I also scored high for violence - which is pretty funny, if you know me.

But, my highest score was for Purgatory.

To console myself about the next most likely scenarios, I just remind myself that Dante was a writer of poetry and drama, not scripture. And the writers of the test were trying to assign us to fictional states of the afterlife, like they would do with “What’s your Hobbit name?.” 😉
 
Purgatory…:). In spite of :confused: “moderate gluttony”, which I think is an oxymoron…:whacky:
 
Purgatory for me! Limbo is high, and everything else is low or very low. Let’s just hope I really do make it to purgatory.
 
Uh, looks like I’m in big trouble according to this survey. As one of the earlier posts point out, it’s the “have you ever” that gets me. I can repent of the past, but will never be able to “improve on” some of these answers since I can not change the past.

I have no idea how gluttony came out so low. I suspect that part of the reason is I do not really enjoy the food I binge on, since I eat it too fast to really enjoy it. Also, I would go broke if I went out to eat at restaurants all the time!

Also, the “violent” rating really went up due to my feelings about myself. Looking at what’s posted so far, my results seem to be the worst of all :o

When I took this test before, I got into Purgatory. 😃 But then, looking at the options, I saw no Heaven. I half wanted to re-take the test to cheat on it and score as perfect a score as possible, just to see if Heaven is an option. There are those who DO work to be perfect and are conscience of their sins before they are committed… I’m not one of them, but, I’m just saying…
