so we have been dating for almost a year. im a catholic meanwhile he is non- catholic. I honestly feel sad because he cancelled to watch a movie with me recently just to play games with his friend. we rarely chat and sometimes we miscommunicate. I already thinking of breaking up with him but he always help me and bought me expensive stuff. I dont care if i dont get that treatment again but im afraid that he is thinking that I take it for granted. is that selfish? this is my first time dating and i dont have much experience.

Okay, if you were my daughter, I would say, let him go.

He may have bought you nice gifts, but that doesn’t mean you need to stay with someone you don’t communicate with very well, you have miscommunication with, and who blows you off to play games with his friends.

Honestly, it doesn’t sound like much of a relationship.

Don’t settle for guys just to “have someone.” Being alone and happy with yourself is better than being miserable with the wrong guy.

Work on yourself, gain confidence by becoming the best you possible. It will help you see your relationships more clearly.
