May 6 is the memorial of Blessed Rosa Gattorno, the Foundress of the Daughters of St Anne. In the year 2000, Cardinal Hickey requested a new foundation be made in his archdiocese to minister to the Ethiopian/Eritrean peoples. The Sisters have established a formation house and wish to add American vocations to their congregation.
