Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Happy, Holy Feast of Mary, our Mother and Queen of Heaven and Earth! For more on this Feast see HERE.
It is a blessing to celebrate this Feast as we come close to the end of our preliminary 12 days, seeking to empty ourselves of the spirit of the world. In Mary we see our hope – the ultimate end of our journey is to be in glory with the Trinity, as Mary is today.
The evil spirit will continue his lies to tempt us off course, but by God’s Grace and the intercession of our Mother, we can grow in faith, hope and above all charity, as we persevere on our journey. Please, let us continue to pray for one another as we work with the Holy Spirit to “see” what needs to be emptied in ourselves of the spirit of the world, and make room for His Love to fill us. Let us rejoice with all the saints and angels and God’s faithful on earth, praising Mary on this Feast-day: “Hail, Holy Queen enthroned above. O Maria! Mother of Mercy and of Love, O Maria! Triumph all ye seraphim; sing with us ye cherubim. Heaven and earth resound the hymn, Salve, Salve, Salve Maria!”
We thank you, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for the beauty of our Mother and Queen. By Your Grace, enable us to know, love and serve You on this earth, as she did, that we may reign with her as Your children, sons and daughters of so noble a Mother!
