Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today is Saturday - Mary’s Day - and we are ending this special week in our 33 Day journey, tomorrow, the Third Sunday of Advent. Monday, God willing, we’ll begin our Week 3: seeking to better understand Jesus. Each day of this journey, has been a blessing for me and I hope it blessed others. Not only those who read the forum here, but also many in this world who have come to know Mary better by the power of the Holy Spirit and through the words of both Scripture and St. Louis de Montfort’s treatise on True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
This time of Advent can be such a good time to make this journey – as I have discovered this year. It is the first time I’ve made the 33 Day preparation for Total Consecration during Advent. Granted there have been times when I was tempted by “so many things to do and so little time” but by God’s Grace I was able to recognize the temptation and refuse to let my heart be troubled. Mary, interceding for me, helped me to remember her “interior quietness” – her oneness with Jesus in those final days before His birth!
