I’ve no argument about homosexuality not being a sin, but the homosexual act being a grave sin.

It’s a problem, since even if it were not a mortal sin to commit the homosexual act, it would still be a sin since it is extramarital.
 
Yes a follower of christ can be an active homosexual, but that’s not the point of this thread, so i’ll leave it at that.

How one can be a “follower of Christ” and intentionally, defiantley disobey His Word is beyond me…

Yes, you can be a Christian AND a homosexual, but God calls you to lead a celibate life. Anything other than that CAN land your soul in Hell. Period.

A “follower of Christ” can also be an extortionist, thief, liar, or murderer, too. But if these “followers” do not repent of these behaviours, and turn to Christ for forgiveness and grace to move away from them, and live as Christ would have the “followers” live, then Christ’s warning that “not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven” should ring in their ears, and ring very loudly, because they risk having the warning made manifest upon themselves.

That is nonsense, not logic. There are many things that are not sinful. And to say there is noting wrong with love is to equivocate on the word. The Church does not equivocate on her teachings.

The equivocation results from a confusion of love with lust.

Look people, its really simple, ok?
2 people love eachother, so they go out to get a piece of paper to tell god and the government that they wanna be considered a family.
But apparently if when 2 people love eachother they both have the same genitals, its immoral.
which means that catholics are basically saying, ‘lets skip past all the love, peace, live and let live garbage in the bible and lets put rules on love.’
yeah. cos that gonna really spread your word with positive overtones.
Why dont you just pencil it in next to love thy neighbour:
“Hey people, we stand for love and marriage, but only on grounds WE agree with.”

the gross and offensive foolishness of it all.
hey, i do believe thats called HYPOCRASY.
