[Dear CAF]: Apology thread

Earlier I made a thread titled “Why did God make me ultimately insignificant”, where I expressed my disappointment in not being the greatest in Heaven and/or Earth, many people tried to console me, however I responded with bitterness and was hesitant to hear them. Usually, these issues don’t concern me, but recently my life has been in a dark place, primarily from the circumstances around me. I don’t want to go to deep into it, but many of my loved ones, alongside myself–have been undergoing harsh tribulations, and the fear that all of our struggling was meaningless got the best of me.

With that said, I still shouldn’t have let my despair get the best of me, as it is contrary to the belief that is required of us Christians, and contrary to the love which Christ has for us.

For anyone reading this, don’t fall into pride and despair like I did. It will destroy you from within. You have to let those thoughts go and continue living your life with faith. Will it fix all of your problems? Probably not, but it will allow you to face them all in a new light.

So to all those who I may have offended in my previous thread, I extend my sincerest apologies, and to those who may just be reading this, hopefully I was able to teach you something of value.

We all have things we need to work on. You admitted you did something wrong, that’s quite admirable. God bless!
 
@MyPurpose, Don’t be hard on yourself. The other thread was good. You expressed yourself well. You responded thoughtfully to other people’s posts. We all had a good dialogue going there. That’s what CAF is for. If something is on your mind, feel free to discuss it.

I believe one of the reasons we are here on earth is to help each other. That is 8 billion people helping 8 billion people. 8 billion of us who need others to help us along. We are all struggling. Your apology says a lot about the kind of person you are. I posted in the other thread but “got out” before things turned bad, apparently.

Good for you for not only apologizing, but for recognizing the need to do so and accepting responsibility. You did a wonderful job at that. I hope things look up soon for you and yours.

I don’t take not being banned for granted. I intend to be better. After all, it’s not what goes into a person but what comes out of him…
 
Someone sent me a card, it said “you’re one in a million !”

I thought about that, it means there are about eight thousand others just like me 🤔

Just stumbled across your profile love your Newman pic! Become catholic like I did this year you won’t look back 🙂 grown more as a catholic in less than a year than when Protestant for yrs

That thread wasn’t bad at all. Remember that God shares his power whenever we need it. It’s like the force with Star Wars, pray!
 
I didn’t read the thread but I admire your apology. I know that things can get heated in these forums and I myself am guilty of uncharitable comments.
