Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today is actually the last day of our 33 Day Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. Tomorrow is the Vigil of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, and as I shared in the beginning of this thread, persons can choose tomorrow’s vigil on Dec. 31 to offer their Prayer of Consecration or they may choose to offer themselves to Jesus through Mary on the Feast itself.

If you are making this Consecration for the first time, I would encourage you to go to the website of Mary Queen of All Hearts HERE to enroll in that Confraternity which has been formed by the De Montfort Fathers. St. Louis in “True Devotion” wrote:
  1. Those who desire to take up this special devotion, (which has not been erected into a confraternity, although this would be desirable), should spend at least twelve days in emptying themselves of the spirit of the world, which is opposed to the spirit of Jesus, as I have recommended in the first part of this preparation for the reign of Jesus Christ. They should then spend three weeks imbuing themselves with the spirit of Jesus through the most Blessed Virgin.
and
  1. At the end of these three weeks they should go to confession and Holy Communion with the intention of consecrating themselves to Jesus through Mary as slaves of love. When receiving Holy Communion they could follow the method given later on. They then recite the act of consecration which is given at the end of this book. If they do not have a printed copy of the act, they should write it out or have it copied and then sign it on the very day they make it.
The method given for receiving Holy Communion is found in paragraphs 266 through 277 at the very end of "True Devotion".

On this last day of preparation, let us pray with the utmost fervor the prayers St. Louis de Montfort asked us to pray in this final week 3: Litany of the Holy Spirit, Ave Maris Stella and the Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus.

The Prayer of Consecration if you wish to print out a copy. was written originally at the end of St. Louis de Montfort’s book on “Love of Eternal Wisdom”. If you do not have copies of St. Louis de Montfort books they can all be found on EWTN. See HERE

Tomorrow, God willing, I will post for the last time on this beautiful “True Devotion” to the Blessed Virgin which has been such a gift from God to His Church through centuries.
Hopefully it has been a blessing for all who read the excerpts posted and I encourage all to continue to read this book slowly and prayerfully asking the Holy Spirit to guide us all into all Truth, who is Jesus.

If you have any questions or comments today or tomorrow (before CAF ends at 5 pm) I’ll reply up until 4: 45 pm. My husband and I pray our Rosary together at 5 pm each evening. 🙂

Thank you.
  • In Your Conception, O Virgin Mary, You were Immaculate.
  • Pray for us to the Father whose Son, Jesus, you brought forth into the world.
  • Let us pray: Father, You prepared the Virgin Mary to be the worthy mother of Your Son. You let her share beforehand in the salvation of Christ would bring by His death, and kept her sinless from the first moment of her conception. Help us by her prayers to live in Your presence without sin. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord. Amen.
  • The Virgin Mary’s Immaculate Conception,
  • Be our Health and our Protection.

Dear Vico,

Thanks for your reply, and for your love of Jesus through Mary. It is increasingly sad to me to see some who claim to be Catholic, yet have little concern about how Jesus and Mary are treated in this world. Statues defaced, and blasphemous words uttered against those Two Loving and Pierced Hearts – Hearts pierced for love of us – and They are receiving so little love in return.

Please let us continue to pray for one another, for the Church and for all those in most need of God’s Mercy.

Dear GioG,

Thanks for your heart, which speaks to us all of your love for Jesus through Mary. May you continue to grow in holiness through the power of God at work in your soul especially through the continuing intercession of Jesus through Mary, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

May this New Year soon to begin be a year in in which you and all those whom you love and serve are greatly blessings.

MariaChristi,
I thank God for you…so many times you carried CAF members to Jesus through Mary.
I will remember you and always pray for you as I go through consecration preparation each year.
God bless you and keep you always in his care.

Dear Donkey,

Of course we know that our Mother Mary really does the “Heavy Lifting” carrying us all to Jesus, with her prayers and her example, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thanks for letting me know you will remember and pray for me; I will do the same for you.

Prayer is the best gift we can give and receive from one another – True prayer offered with attention and devotion is essential to our living in Jesus as Mary did on this earth. Let us always remember Jesus’ Words from the Cross:
Behold your Mother
By God’s Grace may we obey His words as John did, taking Mary into our homes and into our lives.

MariaChristi,
I am copying this and will save it in my prayer book. It is the first and only submission from another member that I will have. I will treasure it.
God’s blessings always,
Your Sister in Christ

Dear Sister in Christ,

It has been a special grace for me to hear those words from Jesus more deeply than ever this year:
“Behold your Mother”
I pray that you and anyone who has prayerfully listened to those words in John’s Gospel will also keep asking for and receiving God’s Grace to ponder His Words, – as Mary and John must have heard and pondered them on Calvary – and for the remainder of their lives on earth. How can we know Jesus better without listening to His Words as Mary did and doing the Truth we hear as Mary did?

Certainly St. John the Beloved Disciple listened more and more deeply and St. Louis de Montfort also listened to Scripture as we hear in both those saints’ writing – many words from both Old and New Testaments – which they pondered and lived and wrote by God’s Grace for the upbuilding of the Church.

Thanks again for your prayers. Yes, please, let us pray for one another, for the Church, and for all those in most need of God’s Mercy.

Your sister in Jesus through Mary,
MariaChristi

PS Your “username” is significant - it was a donkey who carried Mary who was carrying Jesus, and it was a donkey who carried Jesus on His way to give His Life on the Cross for us. May we be little donkeys to serve Them always!
