Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Yesterday, we ended our 33 Day Journey, preparing for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. Some will offer themselves at Mass, but if you are unable to participate in Mass , offer a “Spiritual Communion”.

St. Louis de Montfort in True Devotion. helps us beginning in paragraph 266:
  1. 1) Place yourself humbly in the presence of God.
2) Renounce your corrupt nature and dispositions, no matter how good self-love makes them appear to you.

3) Renew your consecration saying, “I belong entirely to you, dear Mother, and all that I have is yours.”

4) Implore Mary to lend you her heart so that you may receive her Son with her dispositions. Remind her that her Son’s glory requires that he should not come into a heart so sullied and fickle as your own, which could not fail to diminish His glory and might cause Him to leave. Tell her that if she will take up her abode in you to receive her Son - which she can do because of the sovereignty she has over all hearts - he will be received by her in a perfect manner without danger of being affronted or being forced to depart. “God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved.”

Tell her with confidence that all you have given her of your possessions is little enough to honour her, but that in Holy Communion you wish to give her the same gifts as the eternal Father gave her. Thus she will feel more honoured than if you gave her all the wealth in the world. Tell her, finally, that Jesus, whose love for her is unique, still wishes to take his delight and his repose in her even in your soul, even though it is poorer and less clean than the stable which he readily entered because she was there. Beg her to lend you her heart, saying, “O Mary, I take you for my all; give me your heart.”
St. Louis continues to paragraph 273 which ends his book:
  1. There are innumerable other thoughts with which the Holy Spirit will inspire you, which he will make yours if you are thoroughly recollected and mortified, and constantly faithful to the great and sublime devotion which I have been teaching you. But remember, the more you let Mary act in your Communion the more Jesus will be glorified. The more you humble yourself and listen to Jesus and Mary in peace and silence - with no desire to see, taste or feel - then the more freedom you will give to Mary to act in Jesus’ name and the more Jesus will act in Mary. For the just man lives everywhere by faith, but especially in Holy Communion, which is an action of faith.
Please let us pray with Supernatural Faith - for one another, for the Church, and for all those in most need of God’s Mercy. In the end Mary’s Immaculate Heart will triumph for like Jesus she always did and does the Will of the Father.

Repeating from yesterday: "If you have any questions or comments (before CAF ends at 5 pm) I’ll reply up until 4: 45 pm. My husband and I pray our Rosary together at 5 pm each evening. 🙂 Be assured of our prayers for you,

Dear GioG12,

God Bless you too, and all those whom God brings into your life.

Thanks also for your “heart” on this thread which witnesses to your Love for Jesus through Mary. Please let us continue to ask for grace through Mary that we may work with her to bring others closer to her Son by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us "Ask and you will receive…(Mt 7:7-11) Mary reminds us: “Do whatever He tells you” (Jn 2:5)

Thanks, dear Greenfields,

For your reply and especially for the promise of your prayers. How we need to pray, for one another, for the Church and for those in most need of His Mercy -throughout the world in these difficult days!

You will remain in my prayers also to Jesus through Mary.

Ephesians Chapter 3:

14For this reason I kneel before the Father,

15from whom every family* in heaven and on earth is named,

16that he may grant you in accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner self,l

17and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love,m

18may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth,n

19and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.o

Dear hazcompat,

Thanks so much, for adding this beautiful excerpt from St. Paul’s letter. How well it expresses the desires of all the saints God has raised up for us. We are God’s children created in His Love and He continually invites us to share His Life of Love for all eternity.

Let us ask the Father as Paul asked Him for all:
…to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God…
It is a beautiful prayer for us to pray for one another, for the Church and for all those in most need of God’s Mercy, as we approach the new year of 2021 and the glorious Feast of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God who ever intercedes for us.

Thanks for all you have shared so often, to help us grow closer to Jesus through Mary. Jesus and Mary are never outdone in generosity.
