Nice! Mine is Cypress wood, Unicorn hair, 10 ¾ inches, hard flexibility. I actually found a wand analysis online which I’m using for a couple birthday presents, which is the main reason I asked the question in the first place.

Well, due to feelings of dishonest answers, my patronus has changed a few times. The first time I took the quiz, it was a hummingbird. I don’t remember what it was the second time, the third time it was a white mare, and the last time I took it, it was a calico cat. I don’t even know which one it is anymore.

I’ve had the opposite experience.

Took the test several times and always came up with the Granian Winged Horse.

Ash, with unicorn hair core, 10 3/4 inches, brittle flexibility. My patronus is a swift and my Hogwarts house is Ravenclaw and Ilvermorny house is Pukwudgie.
 
Ravenclaw here as well.

Ilvermorny house is the Horned Serpent. As you can see I am all mind.

I got on a kick and got into wandlore.Draco’s wand is fascinating. Hawthorne leaves (and sap(?)) have healing properties but the blossoms smell like death; I think the incongruity is interesting especially with regards to Draco. The core is unicorn hair which is not good for dark magic. If you look at what happened in the tower with Draco, “the wand choosing the wizard” is exemplified. Draco couldn’t kill, and not because of his wand but because of who he was at his core. Some saw him as Death Eater but at his core he’s a healer. Also note that it was that wand that defeated Voldemort and without using an Unforgivable curse.

I find sources that are not from the franchise more interesting.
 
I’m really into the Harry Potter universe, as well. I am not a fan of Rowling’s writing style, but she created a deep universe! I also am on Pottermore, and read a lot of the expanded universe books like Fantastic Beasts and such. I honestly loathed “The Cursed Child” though. Bleh. lol

There’s nothing wrong with studying fiction in depth, so long as you remain tethered to reality, obviously. In fact, Harry Potter has some messianic messages in it as it relates to giving one’s life in the defense of others and such. Some good metaphors can be pulled from it, even though Rowling didn’t intend that.

That was on the headstone on Harry’s parents’ grave and I want it on mine. There are layers of significance for me. Plus, maybe a Potterhead walking through the cemetary will pray for my soul.

In Ilvermorny, I guess you could say that the Pukwudgie and the Thunderbird statues both lit up and I’m still deciding! 😃 In Hogwarts, I’ve been sorted countless times into Ravenclaw.
 
If my experience is typical, Pottermore will default to the House, etc. you were sorted into initially even if you use a different email address, but from the same device. Kinda scary. Anyway, I forced it and the site was like, “Fine, you’re in Slytherin, your patronus is an Adder. :roll_eyes:”

Interesting!

I didn’t know that it was possible to have two houses choose you. Of course I know that it is possible in the canon but I didn’t know it would actually do it in the sorting test.
