Definition of "Church"

In looking at the CCC, I am having a tough time coming up with a definition of “Church”. The term “Church” is used in all kinds of papal documents etc… Is it too simple to say that the “Church” is the people and it is all about people? Do you have a clear, concise definition of what “church” is?
 
The Church is those called out of the world into union with Christ. This is described as the Mystical Body of Christ, because Christ is present in each of it’s members.
