So why can’t we see it?
Because the wavefuction of the Opening Post collapsed into a “deleted post” state, and additionally, we know through the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, that the more accurately we measure a deleted post’s momentum, the less we can know of it’s actual position on the CAF forum, the deleted post could be anywhere, over in the World News section or even in Faith and Finances.

catholictiger,
i tried to back out of a thread once, and it’s like 18 pages now or something lol. this could go on for a while if they loop you back into the conversation like they did to me 😃

I think it’s like Schrodinger’s cat, it’s both here and deleted at the same time.

So ye are saying that if we stand back far enough we will be able to see the post?

I’m pretty sure that a person may delete a post if s/he still has power to edit it. I will try it with this post. If it is still here, I am mistaken.

This seems like a very silly thread. If you have power to edit a post, you have power to delete it.

I just posted a reply that said,
I’m pretty sure that a person may delete a post if s/he still has power to edit it. I will try it with this post. If it is still here, I am mistaken.
I clicked the “edit” button on my reply, and my very first option was to delete the post.

And, indeed, I clicked that option, and my reply was deleted.

Of course, I now re-present that reply in its entirety. So I suppose that Lenny Suskind’s absolute adherence to the Theory of Conservation of Information is upheld here on this forum. Suskind opposed the best minds in the world of physics (including Stephen Hawking) in adhering to this theory, even in the extreme conditions of a black hole (and the best minds, including Hawking, eventually conceded that he was correct). So, Suskind prevails in my reply - but does his principle prevail in this thread?
