Deleted Thread and Apologies

Odd note here to say I had a thread here about my book that got deleted for contravening policies it seems about not promoting one’s own work.

No problem with that - and apologies if it seemed I was spamming.

HOWEVER, before it got deleted, I saw there were some responses before I went to bed last night.

But stupidly, as I was tired, I thought I’d look in the morning.

But now thread is gone and I have no idea who responded. So if you see this, please know I haven’t meant to ignore you and am grateful for any response you made.

Looks like I’ve run into a similar situation.

I figured the ‘Catholic’ part of the site was the right place. Perhaps I should have posted in the ‘non-Catholic’ part because the subject was a site that claimed to be the ‘real catholic’ that was full of garbage and I was wondering if others had run into it.

Looks like the thread was cut, doesn’t bother me.

What bothers me is that people are being led astray.

I feel bad for those being tricked by the false ads and interesting draw of that garbage site.

Things happen. Another thread was deleted today where, I believe, the one who started it did so with the best of intentions. However, it was really bad and I am glad the moderated deleted it, even though it cost me one or two posts on my post count. (rats!) The only way to never make a mistake is to do nothing.
