How do you delete an account? I am leaving the catholic church and would love to delete this account. I haven’t been to mass in 10 months and I don’t want to go. Catholics just seem cold and I feel invisible, disliked and unwanted at mass. I know people say you should not focus on the people there but on Christ in Eucharist but I don’t believe in the real presence so I do not feel like there is a place for me within the Catholic church and I have no reason to go.

You can’t delete your account. Just stop posting and that’s it.

What church would you rather go to? I hope you find one that builds up your faith.

As Irishmom said, there’s no way to delete your account.

I am sorry you are leaving the Church. I will pray that you regain your faith in the Real Presence because that’s what Catholicism is all about, which you seem to realize.
“Other Catholics” are not important.

You have not met good Catholics then. Try harder to get involved and meet some new Catholics. Join Church activities and ministry.

You do have a great reason to go, worship and praise of God.

Once I realized everyone at Mass wasn’t there to see each other, me, or anyone else, but that they were there to participate in the sacrifice of Jesus and to receive him bodily, then it all made much more sense.

Force-feeding guests is for the social afterwards . . .

 😆

I think we have a 500 calorie minimun for first-time guests . . .

Although it may be too late for me to post my comments to you as you may have already decided to leave the forum and you may have decided not to read or post here anymore…

I will say that each Catholic church can be different as to a welcoming atmosphere.

You may need to attend different ones in your area, until you find one that fits your needs better.

Also, it is best if we can ultimately keep our hearts focused on our relationship with the Lord.

I know that it’s much easier said than done when we’re feeling lost and when we’re hurting.

We can ask the Lord for help, praying that He’ll draw us closer to Him and that He’ll help us with our unbelief.

May God bless you in this time of difficulties.
