I remember reading about the poltergeist in Freud’s bookshelf, and judging from the exchange of letters between Freud and Jung it does seem that there was a loud noise from a bookcase when these two men of science were discussing poltergeists, and that Jung was somehow able to predict that there would be a second loud noise from the bookcase after Freud tried to dismiss the whole thing.
But if demons exist, and they are spiritual beings, how would they interact with our physical world, and why would God allow it?
How could they even see Freud and Jung, or overhear their conversation without physical eyes and ears?
Would Aquinas have anything to say about this?
Would he have an answer?
