Denis Leary's Sick Sense of Humor

I find Dennis Leary to be disturbed and disturbing in the remarks he makes in his routines. The quote you provide only convinces me more of my view.

And I thought George Carlin was bad at his atheism. This is even worse than what he pulls.

People stoop so low nowadays. Is this supposed to be funny? How can people think that is anything but wrong? What a shame. :nope:
 
I wasn’t aware they were having this kind of a tribute, I’m definatly watching.
 
I never watch Comedy Central, and now I know why! He will have to stand in front of the Redeemer someday at the judgement. Wouldn’t want to be in his shoes at that time.
 
This certainly wont stop me from watching Comedy Central. They do have stuff that makes me laugh and when I laugh I am happy and forget about cares. But I do agree…Leary is a sick disgusting person. I have no problems with satirizing christianity and taking pokes at the Catholic faith when its done in some sort of real world context that the humor can arise from…but what Dennis did was an outright attack on the faith and shows him to an ENEMY of religion. Its sad to cause he stars in one of my favorite dysfunctional holiday movies…The Ref
 
The friday night standup on Comedy Central is awesome, me and my grandmother watch it almost every friday. They have some real funny commedians, one of my favorites was Mitch Hedburg, he died not so long ago unfortunatly, that was to bad, he was completely awesome, and also one of the persons who inspired me to get my glasses tinted blue.
 
I usually just blank it out when I hear comedians talk about religion and try not to laugh. Denis Leary is funny at parts like when he talks about people complaining or his beef with something.

He’s a good actor too and does well on Rescue Me.
