Please contact your local priest. If he is not suited to your specific situation, he can tell you who is. Suicid thoughts are dangerous.
Thanks. I actually just got off the phone with him. We’re gunna meet sometime later this week.

Did you let him know about the suicidal thoughts?
He does, yes. He told me to come in and talk to him when it happens since I have a very strong mistrust of secular counsellors, and there are no catholic counsellors in my area. He is helping me through this until we can find the help I need to deal with all of this.

Thank you everyone, so much. Satan is really using this situation to being me down very hard. While I am facing all of these things, I am being spiritually attacked by someone I thought I could trust. It’s making everything so much harder, and I feel like God is making me do penance for being a protestant all those years and persecuting the church. I am trying to accept the suffering with a joyful heart, but its feeling so overwhelming. Thank you again for your prayers.
Who stood by approving of the stoning of the first martyr of the Church! Saul of Tarsus!
And became the great apostle of the Lord and of the early Church! The same man, renamed Paul, honored throughout the ages as he continues to teach us through his letters in the bible. No way is God punishing you for having been a Protestant! You were seving the Lord as you knew and understood, and if you ‘persecuted the Church’, then remember Paul, whose conversion, as is your, was complete.
I wrote the following regarding St Paul, and who knows if there is some thought in there that might be helpful. Perhaps the sorrow you feel is a reminder to pray for others for their conversion

Saint Paul and conversion

Saul of Tarsus, implacable enemy of apostle and Church, who became zealous Christian and writer of biblical epistles, please intercede for radical conversion in all who are presently disinterested or hostile, and in those who hope to welcome the fullness of Christ’s teachings and gifts.

Paul, you showed courage of conviction even before you became a zealous apostle of the Kingdom. Please pray that we will be similarly committed. However, please obtain that we will not support any cause that is not sanctioned by the loving will of God.

God granted you conversion to Christian faith. He chose you as a great apostle of the early Church, and through your writing gave precious insights into religious truth.

You, who turned aside from your treasured convictions to follow Jesus and His commands, please intercede for our courage to undertake radical ongoing conversion. Pray that we also may accept whatever risks or ridicule ensues as we follow and teach the truth.

You taught and exhorted, you endured persecution and personal weakness. You suffered from the error and tepidity of others. You longed for death to unite you with God, but you willed to live in order to serve.

Paul, pray that we also shall be true apostles of Christ.
Pray that we are given grace to lead many souls to God and truth. 1999

Anyway, I hope it helps that there are people out here who care!
Even people thousands of miles across the ocean!
Hugs!

It does Trishie, thank you very much.

So bad things happen in threes and I think I got the last bad thing. 1. Rejection from school. 2. “friend” beittling me. 3. My mom just called to say that she is becoming a mormon, thanks to my brother who converted 3 years ago and went on his “mission.” She has never been a christian, and was a fall-away mormon so it makes sense that she is going back to the church…but still. It’s another rug yanked out from underneath me. Especially since she seems to think it important that I find God, and if the catholic church works for me “great,” but god wants her in the “true church. That is, the mormon church.” My mother and I have never really got along (truth be told, she ruined my life as a child with her drug and alcohol addiction) but this just…joy. You know? Joy. 😦

Loving God,

We lift up our intentions and prayers for Whitacre_Girl who is going through some very difficult and challenging times in her life. Lord, she has tried a new strategy for her life and the initial attempt to find a new path has not worked out. She finds herself very unhappy and discouraged at this time. Lord, you love each of your children, you want us to be joyful in our lives, and you often place trials and suffering in our lives to help with our formation. Please send your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with Whitacre_Girl, help her through this difficult time, and grant her strong faith, courage, and hope in your divine providence. Please send your blessings to her in the person of those she meets in accordance with your plan for her life, and help her to improve her prayer life so she may be more tuned into the way forward you would bless for her life. Please remove all anxiety and feelings of depression from Whitacre_Girl, and grant her peace and fellowship as she tries to find the next steps for living out the calling you have planned for her.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Amen.

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen

Continued prayers for your intentions….

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for help. Amen

“If God brings it to you- God will bring you through it.”

Sitting here in front of the keyboard wishing I could visit with you,
but please know you have friends and family in us.

How lonely Jesus must have felt, when the three most trusted disciples fell asleep instead of praying with Him as he faced capture and torture. And how He must have felt when He looked down from the cross as He hung with his ruined body trembling with physical shock resulting from the torture. How abandoned He surely felt, for, of the twelve whom He had made constant companions, whom He had trusted and taught, who had seen His love manifest, and His miracles…only one remained, only one stood with Him at the foot of His cross, only John.

Jesus knows how you feel, Love. Go to Him for understanding and comfort, and strength to forgive, and to carry on, as He did.
Love, your sister Trishie

Hang in there and pray. I know you aren’t Catholic, but try praying through the intercession of a saint.

Venerable Pauline Jaricot (not a saint yet) is a patron of those in financial need. My daughter did a novena to her (9 days of prayer) when she was out of a job and within a week or so of completing the novena, she got an interview and then got the job.

Whatever you do, remember that God loves you and wants you to reach out to Him. Suffering is a great way to draw closer to Him. No matter what you’ve done, how you spoke against the church, or whatever - He still wants you back.He is as quick to save you as a mother snatching her baby from a fire.

Suicide is a rejection of God. It’s the road to the eternal flames. I beg you not to go down that road.God’s mercy is infinite.

Whitacre_Girl,

Sorry for my last post. I didn’t realize that you were Catholic.

I think I got you confused with a different thread.

Good luck,

By the way, I really like your art. I went to the online gallery and thought your work is great. Except for the zombie stuff - which is good, but I don’t like it because it reflects your mood and I hate to see you hurting.

Are there any community colleges in your area? Also, most colleges will let you take a course or two as a non-matriculated student. Then, if you do well in those, you will be more likely to get accepted into a degree program. Don’t give up on your dreams! 👍

I suggest you take a long cold look at your site *Deviantart.com *. If this is where you derive your energy/inspiration from then this is also feeding your suicidal thoughts.

Much of the so-called art on that site is (soft) pornograhic, New Age and satanic.
Get out of that site, find a christain art site & I promise, you will feel a lot better.

Your present site is evil evil evil…break the link as quickly as possible ( or ‘they’ have got you).

Actually the zombie stuff was done a while ago at the request of a friend for halloween before all of this hit the fan. Oddly enough, when I get like this I don’t draw that kind of stuff…I don’t draw anything at all really.

I am talking to a close friend of mine about a program like that. It’s really hard because I already have my bachelor’s degree and that comes with a bit of debt…so unfortunatly I don’t have a lot of money to spend on something…I am looking into financial aid for that though, and we’ll see how it goes.
